History

Peter Daily is a singer/songwriter whose home base is in Los Angeles, though his roots lay deep in the heart of Texas. Peter comes from a musical family, and was particularly influenced by his father, who sang in a gospel group out of Dallas in the 1970's. Peter spent much of his childhood on the group's tour bus. Peter inherited his father's knack for performance early on; he began singing in front of crowds when he was 4 years old, and soon after, he got his first drum kit. During his teenage years, Peter began teaching himself to play the piano and eventually picked up lessons from a blind pianist who left a permanent mark on Peter's musical path.

In 2004 Peter started touring with rapper/singer Pigeon John as his musical director vigorously touring North America and Europe with Mike Patton & Peeping Tom, Miho Hatori, RJD2, Of Montreal, Matisyahu, Pretty Lights, Brandi Carlile, Atmosphere, Ween, Sleater-Kinney, Lupe Fiasco and others. On his latest effort Peter and his Royal Band turned to Adam MacDougall (Chris Robinson Brotherhood) as producer. A year of recording brought eclectic nuances by the level of musicianship from the players on the album including Brian Ray (Paul McCartney), Neal Casal (Ryan Adams), Shawn Davis (Beck), Joel Shearer (Rufus Wainwright), Zac Rae (Lana Del Rey) among others. Peter Daily's songs have been used on Netflix, ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, The CW, and Travel Channel networks.
